Annie Wilder’s musical heart was picked out of the dirt somewhere along the deer trails that run between prickly pear and cedar trees down South. While her first loves were the Red Dirt, Texas Blues, and Classic Country she was raised on, Annie’s own style pulls from these and a variety of other influences, blending skillful multi-instrumentalism, gothic themes, and a haunted middle into the sound of somewhere far off and closer still all the same. Shifting, sweet, and strange, her music is most easily described as songs written by ghosts. She might be one, for all you know.
